What awful amount of post about coffee!!! Er...
That's mine.
Bialetti, yes, the best italian coffeee maker producers... I know you prefer vintage one, but I can assure you that millions of Italians have at least one of those!
Easy! You put the water in lower part, add coffe powder on, screw the upper onto lower,then on heat! A few minutes later, the best coffe you can get!
Once in the morning after you have just woke up, and once after lunch during the break if you like...
We call them "caffettiere", made in aluminium, becasue is the only metal which can give you the coffee once better than before.
Naples is the capital of the coffee... "na tazzuliella e cafè!" they say...but anywhere else here the coffee at home is alwasy made like that.

PS: Peppina, was the female protagonist of a very old children song, in which she was blamed to make the worst coffe indeed. She was considered like a witch...song said "Il caffè della Peppina non si beve la mattina, nè col latte nè col te, ma perchè, perchè perchè?!?!?"
= "The coffee of Madame Josephine, don't drink it during the morning! Neither with milk or tea, but why, why, why!"
