That's just odd! My apologies to anyone out there that likes that sort of decor/design. To me it's just fugly!
Thanks for sharing it though. I showed my husband and he said the same thing I did. At least my kids saw it and said, 'Look, a record player'. I am teaching them well.
My upstairs tenant has that same radio! It's being paired up with my mauve mohair art deco couch and chair for a pleasing, eclectic effect in the living area.
Nice Hi-Fi components-but can't quite make out what kind of TT it is-and why isn't the TT in the TOP of the Fugly cabinet-HATE Ankle levelTT's!Not only to stoop changing records-but the TT gathers all of the dust from anyone walking by when the cabinet is open.
fugly! I cant' quite make out the receiver so its either a wanna be or an early Sansui from what I can see. Its no Marantz thats for sure, if its a Sansui then its well worth the $6 bucks.
You'd have to be wearing a granny-gown and wire frame glasses to operate that one!
The stereo is a dry sink model. I know Magnavox had one for the "Spirit of '76" collection they came out with in '76. It had a Collaro record changer. After Maggie dropped the Collaro, I believe they went the BSR route. - Mike L.
