OMG!! THE BEST MACHINES EVER!
I've had 3 indesits in my life, the only one that gave trouble was teh first one which died when i was about 3 because of excessive use with bad bearings. It was a brown fascia machine with 2 dials i think

second was same as urs above except it only had 1 button on it. Had a 600rpm spin i think, never gave an ounce of trouble, just worked and worked, is still going 13 years later with NO problems, one of mums friends has it now.

My last indesit was a WG1233T one of the last WELL MADE indesits! I loved it, 2 dials, dorr handle at the top right of the door. That machine is still going nearly 9 years on with no repairs! One of mums elderly friends has it now. We gave it up when we moved in with my step dad as he had a washer dryer!

Thanks for the pics, how long you been interested in machines?
Any chance of a vid of it in action? :-D

ive always been intrested in wasing machines, these are indesits best looking machines and one of the easiest to use, love the sound of the motor, it was always so quiet, unfortunatly i won't be able to make any vids because the machine above belongs to my nanny's friend, my auties one of these machines was the exact same as the one above but six years of continus washing wore the motor out and the bearings went in my nanny's one, they were much better than some of the indesit's being made nowdays.
here's another pic of the machine.

I love Indesit's too, even the love-it-or-hate-it Moon model lol.

My nana who lives down in Somerset has a late 1998 WG1030 model. It's no Miele but it's a very good machine, I love it!

It's a base model with 3 buttons, On/Off, Economy 60C, and reduced spin 1000/600RPM. It features the top-right mounted door handle and it has a 5KG load capacity.

I love seeing it working, alternating between gentle and normal action on the cottons programme while still giving the load a good clean. I love the interesting spin sequence too, it has anti-clockwise spin and it spins in intervals while dropping back down to distribute speed in between which is a neat touch.

The max spin is only 1000RPM but it spins the clothes well.

I love the sounds it makes. The timer, the motor and my favorite, the pump, which makes a really good chugging sound lol. I just love listening to it's pump, it's a great sound!

It's been very reliable, no breakdowns at all!

My grandma has a similar model, the WG820. It's the same as nana's but without a spin reduction button and only 800RPM spin. That too has also been reliable.

Both models have the Servis-style drum, but it has 3 paddles of course!

So, that's my liking of Indesit's for you. They're not all bad lol.

I'll do pictures and vids of them soon!

Here are a few Indesit pics I have (some courtesy of some on here).

Remember the chrome door version of the mid 80s?

control pannel

plese could you take photos of control pannel? I'd like to see the timer and the buttons.
I like the chrome door version of the mid 80s!

And this too! I remember these machines having quite large drums for the time and very noisy brush motors.

Omega

We bought an omega 1200 in dec 1994 when our hotpoint washer dryer broke down. It was a quieter than the hotpoint but i remember it being noiser than most other machines! It was the one with the eco sense and the squareish door. In hindsight i liked it because you could stick straight onto the fast spin. Sudslock galore!

the Europa L5LGB(I think) still available in the mid 70s.

...you know guys? This may be that famouse wm known for not having a draining pump...the machine started the spin reversing the wash cycle motor way so that the spinning motor force provided both spinning an drainig contemporanealy!

The customers complaints were such a lot for the demage caused for the incredibile instability of that machine such that Idesit stopped so early producing it

Even previous machine had got a draining pump...so maybe had it been a sctictly economical producer choose!? I honestly don't know...

The same machine has the BIO-step but I don't remeber other than the yellow pushbutton to select the funtion and nothing else.
