Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I would.

That's a "Heavy Duty 16" set (printed on the black & white shield right above the water level knob)which means:

<ul><li>It's from 1969 or 1970 (at the latest)</li><li>It's really a "V-12", meaning it has standard capacity (which I prefer these days BTW). They were just about to introduce their large capacity machines).
</li><li>It has a green straight-6 agitator (which you can replace with a spiral ramped one easily)</li><li>It should have a standard green filter pan
</li><li>Looks like it has a mini-basket but you should ask the seller</li><li>Probably has a "bleach funnel"</li><li>Dryer is gas so it's not only a good dryer but it's very fast</li></ul>If your intention is to pick it up or have it shipped, I would offer the seller 100 and see what they do. Unless your competing with another vintage appliance collector, it's not worth 200, but I would pay that for it because I collect Filter-Flo's

Here's a more TOL line-mate from the same year:

1972 models????

Someone just posted a catalog for GE appliances from 1972. This was on Christmas Day in the Imperial section, check it out. The washer and dryer both look like they might have been in that catalog. I would offer him 75 a piece for them, if you really want them pay the 200, I would, they look like they are in great shape.
