Hello all,

Here is a pic of the Inglis "Royal Twin" from an online auction of last year (in Lethbridge, Alberta). I had forgotten that Inglis branded the Servis model of twin-tub, much like Speed Queen and Simplicity. Interesting to note that it has three control knobs like the Servis, unlike SQ and Simplicity that had two. It appears the third knob is only for pump control, as I don't think any models in North America had heating elements. If somebody can verify that, please do!

Best of my knowledge no, Servis/SQ/Simplicity twin tubs marketed in North America had heating capability.

Power draw (2.5 kW)is too much for 120v circuit and using 220v would kill sales from households who did not have such service, nor interested in having it installed just for a washing machine.
