Hi all,

This is a washer that I recently found at a flea market. I know nothing about it (no big suprize) and I am hoping that some of you can educate me . I'm curious to know when this item was made and any other useful info. I'm not looking for a value. This isn't an issue as I'm not looking to sell it. I just think that it's cute a hell and work very well. Even the wringers are still soft. I haven't cleaned it up you so it looks kinda grungy but I think it'll clean up very well.

As you can probably see, it's a portable/ table-top washer that comes with a stand. I'm going to post several pics.

What have I got?????

Rich, another awesome machine, especially that square-base agitator! With all of the cool portables you're picking up, you'll become the "King of Mini-Washers".

Thanks, Austin and Steven!

It is a cute machine. I know that not many people seem to like wringer washers but I find them to have a great look!

I just wish someone knew something about it :-(

Wringers n Rollers

Hi Rich

What a great find, love the style of that square agi...When I first saw the cabinet with the holes around the side I thought it was heated by gas...

Does it have a switch on it or does the black agi cap pull up to dis-engage the agi when using the wringer??

It must be a rariety, couldnt find anything on Lee Maxwell`s site either...

Enjoy, Mike

Pretty soon..........

You'll be doing your entire laundry in portables, and I can't wait !!!!!

Love the shots of the agitator sloshing in a "lite" water level.

It realy has a neat look to it. I, too, thought that it had a gas heater but it doesn't. It also has a port, of sorts, directly below the handle on the left hand side that looks like it would be for a gas line but it an oil port.

There is no switch. It turns on when you plug it in! The black cap, on the agitator seems to have no function other than keeping the water from going down the agitator shaft when you dump water in it. Perhaps it has another function but I can't figure it out. I know very little about washing machines. I just know what I like the looks of.

I, too, couldn't find the Sandusky on Lee's site. That was the first place I looked :-)

"You'll be doing your entire laundry in portables, and I can't wait !!!!!"...Oh from your mouth to gods ear!!! It doesn't hold a whole lot, the wringer is very tiny (narrow)not to mention it's not a powered wringer and the whole machine shakes, on its stand, when it's running!! I DON"T THINK SO!!!!!!
