Today's dryer get clothes wrinkles free indeed... but how are the ones in cotton or worse linen??? Really the Art of Iron is forgot at all? The better I can wash my cotton shirt without any wrinkle, some have always to be ironed... Would you say that outdoor hanging clothes make them more wrinkled than dry them with dryer?

The Gare d'Orsay Museum of Paris show a very good Impressionist (if I remeber well) painting whose author I don't remeber the name but it represents some women in the act of ironing, the title is "La repasseuse", we're in the XVIII sec!

Many of my all cotton shirts don't need ironing if I spin them slowly and briefly. Then I put them in a hot dryer for less than 5 minutes to get the fabfic relaxed. I remove them, stretch them along the seams and put on hangers to dry. The fabric's wet weight helps to pull the wrinkles out. I try to avoid ironing.
