Hello! I have an Ironrite 95 that I bought from the son of the original owner. It was a step up from my previous Montgomery Ward Ironer that was a similar vintage. It was definitely well cared for over the years. We have changed the oil, greased the chain, cleaned and lubricated the motor and replaced the wheels. It runs great except there is an annoying squeaking sound coming from the support arm connection to the roller. At least we think that is where the noise is coming from. We are hesitant to remove the support arm because it seems like it might be difficult to reassemble. Does anyone have any knowledge on this topic that might be of help? We found lots of helpful information on changing the oil and other things, but nothing on squeaking from the support arm. It works great otherwise. Thank you!
