Myu mum wants to washer her down jaket but were wondering if we can wash it in our washer

I think she should read the label on the jacket for the cleaning instructions. That may be an item to dry clean only.

Sadly it was a dry clean only but she washed it on dealicite but it didnt wreck it at all

Well, I'm glad the jacket came out ok. If one does have a washable one, you can wash it, but it's good to stay there and keep an eye on it, and keep pushing it into the water (assuming here you have a toploader) as they have a tendency to float.

Well apperently it went off balance 5x and it got spots on it after washing. So we are trying it again today on super wash whitch is the most messed up cycle ive ever used

Feathers galore!!

I would not risk putting a down jacket through a "super wash" You could end up with a washer clogged with feathers, and a big fat repair bill to boot. It couldn't cost over ten to fifteen dollars to dry clean the jacket. Why take the chance?

Good luck,
Rick
