Hi all, looking for some help here. I replace the drain pump shell and impeller and that solved 90% of my leak issues, however I have a new leak now 😭 It is a very slow drip during the wash cycle. Like only 5 or 6 drops in total.

I'm wondering if this is a shaft seal problem, or an O-ring problem? My machine calls for shaft seal and washer assembly part number M-77107 and I'm having a hard time finding one anywhere! There is one that would possibly fit on eBay, but it is so expensive. I will have to buy it, if nothing else fixes this issue, but I'm just looking for some experienced advice here.

I think my carbon seal has seen better days and it isn't sealing properly šŸ˜” The seal seat seems fine and the o-ring inside it has been replaced now. There is also an O-ring that is tucked in the shaft hole that surrounds the brass bottom of the pump seal. I'm still looking for one of those R-67500-25 or Hobart 00-067500-00025.

Thanks all!

Every so often, someone needs a 00-077107 seal but sadly since Hobart obsoleted your machine's commercial cousins back in 1989, parts dwindled away and any parts with "Kitchenaid" on their boxes or bags were tossed by Whirlpool not long after the 90's these seals are probably impossible to find.
I checked to see if we (I still work for Hobart) still stocked 00-067500-00025 o-rings but we don't anymore. However, I can tell you that it is a Buna-N o-ring made by Parker. Their stock number is N674-70. The seal, IIRC, was a John Crane seal but I don't have the John Crane stock number. If I should find it, I will pass it along.
