I have a Hamilton 700 electric dryer in my basement. I use it nearly every day. Is it an antique? It was here when we purchased our home a year ago. The man that had lived here was nearly 100. Just wondering what we have here.... I took this pic today with my cell phone. it is running so the blue light is on inside that little window... lol

I know this sounds silly, but is this an electric or gas model? I can't see the control panel clearly, but at the upper right hand corner, is that the little flame symbol that identifies it as gas? Also can't see the top of the lid so I couldn't see if there was an access door.

HAMILTON GAS DRYER

Anthony you appear to be correct as it not only has the little blue flame symbol on the control panel but also has the access door on the top that only the gas dryers have. This is also the older late 1950s-1960s design that was much more durable than the design that they changed to around the late 1960s.
