is this Whirlpool one to look for?

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

It's kinda upscale, though. Clean Touch console, sliding water level control (kinda unusual for Whirlpool), four speed combos. Extra rinse available on Heavy, Delicate and Perm Press. That oversize timer sure leaps out atcha.

It might not have very much mileage on it though, and these machines are more durable than they're given credit for in this forum (at least I say). I'm not sure it's worth what they're asking, unless it's in tip-top shape. If it's a refurbished unit (which I doubt) I'd say Hell Yeah it's worth it! Happy washing!

that whirlpool looks like a model or two before or even after my whirpool, controls are kinda the same only mine has knobs and push buttons. The instrucion books are exactly the same tho. On the whole its a good machine but is a bit harsh on regualr wash, i use perm press on most clothes coz it seems to be a bit rough on them. Anyways, heres a pic for curious minds.

Lol. Well, if you don't overload those WP machines and use the "normal" slow/fast speed, yes, you'll be fine. BUT if you're like my mom, you'll disable the ATC, overload it, set it to the longest time, and put it on fast/fast and pull out shredded clothes. Then for the final touch, timed dry on high heat, but take them out wet. She ain't coming near my Oasis when I get'em.
