ISO 1966 GM Frigidaire RollerMatic Pump

Hey yall, i am making this thread because i am in need of a pump for my 1966 frigidaure rollermatic washer. The part number is (7528743) if you have any please let me know because that would be very appreciated! You can also email me [email protected]. Thanks.

What sort of problem are you having with this pump?  Looks like all the parts are there and are ok except I don't see the impeller and seal setup.  Looks like someone has been into it before with the dried sealant on the side of the housing.

I tried to fix it due to the gasket leaking but then when i tried to fix it, the pump impeller snapped off of the shaft and one of the screws that mounts the assembly on got stripped out so i not need a whole new pump assembly. I am still on the hunt for one.

Why not just use an electric drain pump from a newer top load washer like a GE for example.

You can wire it up so the pump runs whenever the machine is in the spin cycle.

John has a good point. For as finicky as GM pumps are, you're better off going the route of using a modern pump. Since these overfill during both the wash and rinse cycle, wire the pump to run anytime the mechanism motor is running.

Don't forget you can gravity-drain!

If you have a floor drain nearby OR just run a hose out into the yard like people used to do in the 1950's!
