One of my favourite washing machine brands is It Wash. However I do not know much about their operation. The only time I used one of these machines was the ITW42018I in a flat in Gozo. It was a hybrid timer model using both mechanical timer and electronic control. All I saw was arinse and spin cycle. It did 3 rinses with intermediate spins at 800rpm (full speed on that model).

I had a few questions:
Does the cycle change depending on what setting you set the machine on different programmes. What I mean is, if the cotton programme is made up of 7 stages:
2 is energetic, 3 is normal, and 4 is rapid. During the main wash the timer knob, passes through 2, 3, and 4, but I suspect that if the machine is set to 2 instead of 3 for example this can influence the action of the rinses for example. I am asking this as on You Tube, I saw a mechanical It Wash like the one in the flat, and it did not spin after the first rinse, but the one at the flat, being set on 5, which is rinses, did do a spin after the first rinse.

If anybody has any information that he/she would like to share, please feel free to do so, as I am very curious about these machines.

Thank you in advance.

It is manufactured in Naples, Italy.

In reality it does seem as if it has been inspired by Indesit. The knobs look like those on the machines whose models start with WI-, and even the markings on the side

No, it is definately not a Merloni machine, although I used to think it was at first.

However, the slight relation between the It Wash and Merloni is that at some point in time, there were Favorit Record machines in Malta, and also It Wash with a Record label and still with It Wash!

Interesting article there on the history and previous ownerships.. one being St.George and DeDeitrich. Those srang a bell. I seem to remember many years back, either in Calgary most likely, or maybe Vancouver. there being an appliance dealership that sold the high end stuff like Thermador, Sub Zero, Asko etc that also sold DeDeitrich and St.George appliances.
