I just got a whole sh*tload of old Consumer Reports (1957-61, incomplete) and started reading 'em.
Of course, I had to start with the appliances.
Wellsir, in a 1957 report on dryers, they mentioned that the Kenmore had an attachment to allow for ventilating the room, heating it, or drying one's hair.
And here I thought Norge was the only one with a hair dryer attachment!
Unfortunately, there's no picture of this interesting item as they didn't test it.
Anyone got a '57 Sears catalog? I'd love to see what it looked like.
