Ultra wonderful!!!!! They did this once - then backed off. What they are calling "Boomerang" was originally named "Skylark". Doesn't matter, I'll take it either way.
Sorry--looks like it was reintroduced so recently that they haven't posted a picture yet. The press release was dated yesterday, so I'm going to keep checking.
And if you have the cash, Pastense puts in several big orders from Formica for some other "retro" patterns, take a look at the bottom of this page for the Cracked Ice and Glacier patterns: http://www.pastense.com/surfaces.html
Very cool site - lots of retro design elements. We went to a store in Minneapolis last weekend called Kilroy's Classic Malt Shop Supply that had tons of these things in stock and also many, many old signs for sale. There was a great GE round logo and a Speed Queen sign that we swooned over, but alas, left with nothing!
We have the big GE logos and "General Electric" signs on the transmitters I use--but can't take them-they are so COOL!!The equipment is in use and right on the front for all to see-would be noticed if they "dissappeared" Same with the big Bronze Continental electronics" logos on some other transmitters I use.I am not the only one that dreams of having one.also in the other building I worked in-they had some older GE Equipment that had BRONZE GE signs and logos-were even beautiful!!The equipment came from the 1930's.The chillers there for their AC had bronze "Carrier" logos.also liked the "Crocker-Wheeler" logos on the large motors that drove the old chillers.
