It's time to dust off some of Grandma's rhubarb recipes and bake some memories.
Recipe no.1
Rhubarb Cake
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. butter, softened
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cups + 1 1/2 tbsp. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
Mix all ingredients together until smooth. Stir in 2 cups chopped rhubarb. Spread batter in a greased & floured 9x13 pan. Mix together 1/2 cup brown sugar & 1/2 cup chopped nuts and sprinkle evenly batter. Bake @ 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

Rhubarb Torte
1/2 lb. butter or margarine
2 cups flour, sifted
2 tbsp. sugar
6 cups rhubarb, chopped
6 egg yolks
6 egg whites
2 cups sugar
4 tbsp. flour
1 cup evaporated milk
Mix first 3 ingredients like pie crust and press into 9x13 pan. Bake @ 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
Custard: Pour boiling water over rhubarb. Let stand for 5 min. and drain. Beat the egg yolks; add evap. milk, flour, and sugar. Spoon rhubarb evenly over baked crust. Pour custard over the top. Bake for 35 minutes.
Meringue: Beat egg whites and 1 tbsp. sugar for each egg. Beat until whites form stiff peaks. Add 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, and 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar. Spread on baked custard mixture, bake for 8-10 min., or until light brown.
