That JennAir is at least....
17-20 years of age. So many people on CL fudge the age of things. It is ridiculous. Someone locally has a REALLY nice Maytag Jetclean I'm interested in. Priced at $150 because it's "only a few years old". It is actually a model from 1993/1994 and I told the seller that it was this age. Which got me accused of haggling. So I handed her the catalogue from '94 and one from '96 to prove my point. Ha!

you are right. Some JennAir does fit that bill. Personally, I have mostly vintage-ish JennAir in my own kitchen. Mostly the good stuff from the mid-80s which was still properly built for the long run. What they've been putting out for the last 10-15 years is pretty dodgy...
