Jon, are you talking about the small picture showing a white dryer? That's the one that was the ad for Paul's dryer, it's a Norge!
If you're talking about the "colonial copper" ones, they are "N" series Gold Crowns, the one on the left being a very basic model with no heat selections and timed drying only, the one on the right is the equivalent of the DCDAN (that would match your Rollermatic washer) with a different console.
About the '62 pushbuttons,
That's right John! That's what I meant with my previous post (4 pushbuttons have the same function - or 3 are useless!).
On the '65 Custom Imperial I got from you, there are still 6 pushbuttons but just 3 do the same action (or just two are useless)!
At least in 1966 with the electronic sensor dryers like the one you have, they replaced the useless buttons with a start and a cancel button so all 6 pushbuttons have a different function!
