Early 80s WCI built Ken we’re all in one
Yes this is definitely toast in more ways than one LOL
In this time. This machine had several fatal performance problems, the dryers all tumble to fast to dry clothing properly because he accidentally used to 50 cycle pulley on the motors.
The washer couldn’t pump out worth a darn suds lock so badly even after the rinse.
And the washer and dryer both were fire hazards they had a lot of serious fires with these machines,
With WC I started building these to be marketed under the general electric name, GE insisted on metal lid for the washer and metal door for the dryer to help contain the fire problem along with a few other improvements.
And at $500 it’s nearly what it costs new I suspect they’re going to have this for a long time or they’re gonna end up just throwing it away.
Yea
