Kenmore Direct Drive Question

Guys: I have a "70 Series" direct drive Kenmore washer at the gym where I work.
Today it stopped spinning or agitating. The Motor will run but No movement. Can someone enlighten me on what has happened and what kind of hassle it is to fix this problem. Thanks !!!!!

Broken motor coupling.

Most likely a broken motor coupler. Easy to fix! The coupler sits between the motor and the transmission. Remove the two clips holding the pump to the front of the motor, remove two clips holding the motor onto the transmission and bingo. Most times this can be done with just leaning the washer back and accessing the above from the bottom. The coupler will be two plastic wheels with three fingers each and a rubber wheel that sits between them.

Does it still pump water out?

If so, 99% chance that the drive coupler between the motor and transmision broke. One of the more common breakdowns these machine have.

10 minute repair for a pro, 30 minutes for an amateur doing it for the first time. Part is inexpensive.
