Recall of 24" Ranges

3000 ranges is nothing, I dough that I would ever run into one of these ranges.

Unfortunately when you get into gas or electric ranges less than 30" wide they are all pretty crappy, same thing with DWs that are less than full sized  24" wide.

I always recommend when people are planning a smaller kitchen area to use a full sized range and DW and make the space cuts in other places if at all possible.

These Kenmore 24" seem to be more popular in Canada than in the US. I believe they are special order, as I never saw any in the store. 24" ranges such as these are often pretty well featured, as noted they are smoothtop units and possibly self-cleaning.

20" ranges however all seem to be very simplistic, and have a clock at most.

New ranges less than 30" are rarely seen around here. The 20" used to be common in efficiency hotels/motels on the beach but those are tending to go with full featured 30" when they remodel if at all possible. They are often less expensive or at least the same price as a 20" and a better value too (plus makes the place feel more upscale to guests). The 20" and 24" being a niche item cost much more and are not easy to find in stores.
