I'd say go for it.
It has nice lines. Love that porcelain top. It's fairly plain, though, and not really the most glamorous machine you may ever own. I don't think it has anything but timed dry with a thermostat to control heat in the hot or hotter zones, you'll find.
If you need a machine to play you a song when it's done, or to think for itself, this may not be for you. It IS most like what I remember us having before we got the '68 Lady Kenmore, though.
