Kenmore Portable beaters needed!

1956 Pink portable, I need a set of beaters , the blades have come loose from the shaft, I would weld it but im afraid I would burn the metal up.

JB Weld?

Not sure about whether or not it would be food safe, but have you considered JB Weld if all else fails? I know at my uncle's work it was used to patch a forklift engine 14 years ago, and they still use the forklift every day loading and unloading huge loads of metal. I'm sure en email to the JB Weld site or another member could answer whether or not it is a foodsafe material.. I know the site lists it as non-toxic, but thats all I can contribute..
