Kitchen Aid A-10 Coffee Mill Grinder

Never seen one of these before. What year would this be from? It has the old KitchenAid logo. At first I thought this was something new, like you would see at Macy's.

Interesting advice from the seller about firmly holding the chute cover closed.  The biggest complaint from people about the mechanically similar model A-9 is that it spews grounds all over their counters.  I've had the same experience with mine.

 

I've never seen or heard of an A-10 before.  Its design looks to be many decades ahead of its time.  Hobart may have felt the plastic hopper was an upgrade over the glass type used on the A-9, but I prefer the glass.
