Kitchen Aid Superba by Hobart Portable Dishwasher

I inherited my Mom's Kitchen Aid Superba by Hobart Portable Dishwasher and would like to know several things:
Where can I find the model # so I can more accurately describe this machine?
Where can I find an Owners Manual and or Parts Manual
Where can I find the faucet adapter, I have check all local hardware stores and their adapters are too small.
I manually fill the machine and tried running a normal wash and after 5-10 minutes of heating the water it started. The motor was very noisy, more so than I remember and would like to fix that problem if possible.
The machine is in good condition and the butcher block top can easily be resstored.

That appears to be the portable version of the KDS 20.  The model number should be on a strip on the front edge of the tub.  You'll have to open the door to find it.  The link provided below has an owner's manual for the 20 series available for download, but I don't know if it will cover the different components used on the portable models.

 

Faucet adapters that fit this machine are indeed available at ACE or big box home improvement stores.  I found one for a slightly older KA model at Home Depot a couple of years ago.  They might look shorter than the original adapter, but they'll work.

I have the built in version.  That machine will take the rust off a trailer hitch.

Definitely a great machine to inherit.
I just acquired a machine similar to yours a few weeks ago and am truly enjoying the experience.
There are many great people on this forum to help you with any issues you have.
Take good care of your inheritance and it will reward you with still, many years of great service.

I have the same machine, also in a portable. As others have mentioned, they work great!

Mine isn't the quietest machine either so there might not actually be anything wrong with yours. I think portable DW's are in general a bit louder given they aren't buried in kitchen cabinets that block a bit of the sound.

Ikea makes an excellent food safe product for coating butcher blocks. It costs about $10 and it does a fantastic job at protecting, looks great and lasts much longer than mineral oil. I'd highly recommend it if you are refinishing the top.

Home Depot used to carry a few different faucet adapters in their plumbing section so try them if you have one close by. Mine takes the shorter one of the two common sizes, not sure if it's different in the US.

Butcher Block Restoration...

After sanding it with 3-4 (coarse to fine) sandpaper, Tack Cloth it really well,  and at CVS or anywhere else buy Mineral Oil. Spend a week, applying a coat a day so it really absorbs into the wood.  Then it's just maintenance from there  with an occasional coat here and there.
