PICK UP ONLY!! I AM OFFERING FOR SALE A KITCHENAID DISHWASHER by HOBART MODEL SUPERBA KDS-19, FROM THE EARLY 1980's. SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF AGE BUT IS WORKING. HAS ONE BROKEN DOOR HINGE AND SEAL IS HARD AND PROBABLY SHOULD BE REPLACED. SEVERAL PINS BROKEN OFF FROM THE BASKETS BUT DOES INCLUDE AN EXTRA USED UPPER BASKET (NOT PICTURED). ALSO COMES WITH ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL AND PAPERS.

PLEASE STUDY PICTURES AND REALIZE THAT, ALTHOUGH WORKING, THIS IS AN OLD MACHINE SO NO GUARANTEE OR PROMISE THAT IT IS PERFECT.

Johnny,
You called me about this and asked my opinion. I gave it to you based on years of experience and with the knowledge of how most of the members think on this forum. They have more experience in these matter than I have and their reactions are pretty much the same as mine.

I told you to post it on the Shopper's Square and what to price it at. And you went higher than I suggested. I am sure that you expect to be bargained down from your asking price, but believe me, you may not even receive a serious inquiry at your price point. I think it will sit on Ebay for quite a while too since the 19 series is probably one of the least desirable machines that KA made.

Whenever I have sold a dishwasher, the buyer got a machine as close to new as I could make it with no issues and in the majority of cases, the selling price was less than what you are asking.
Reconsider your price and if you want to list it here,put it in the Shopper's Square.

Looking for a Kitchenaid Superba dishwasher - mid to late 80

Hello Friends!

I'm looking for a Kitchenaid Superba dishwasher...Hobart made (preferably) from the early to mid-1980s. I'd like to replace the Whirlpool unit I have currently.

I'd appreciate anyone's advice on how to best find one in Ohio as many sellers are unwilling to ship. Your expertise and counsel are very welcome. Thanks.
