What is this dishwasher & can somebody give me anymore information?  I was thinking it was a custom with so few buttons but these are the pics seller sent me.  I know its a 22 from the model number and everything that I see, and I think it should be after WP took over?

22 Series = Post Hobart

The KUD"M" is throwing me.  I think the "M" may indicate what's known as a "builder's" model.  If so, it's similar to a Custom but others can advise on any differences between the two.

Will many parts interchange with a KUDS 23?

The 23 series machines are outfitted with the Whirlpool power-clean module, so anything parts associated with that will not interchange with a 22 series. 

 

A visual inspection of the components below the lower wash arm will show the difference between the Whirlpool system and Hobart holdover that was retained through the 22 series' production.
