Kitchenaid KDS-17 Dryer Blower Working Sporadically

I think my Kitchenaid KDS-17 has been invaded by gremlins. The past 2 months, the dryer blower has been working sporadically. The heating element works every time but the blower only works about every 3rd time I run the dishwasher. The first time it happened, I checked to be sure no wires had come loose and that the fan was spinning freely but didn't find any issues. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Sluggish blower motor

Take the blower motor out and put a few drops of oil on each of the bearings, if that doesn't do it replace the blower motor.

These little blower motors are still readily available, just buy a used one on eBay. They don't fail that often if needed.

I did oil the bearings about a year ago when we first got the dishwasher. I was able to find a NOS motor on ebay for under $30 so I'm going to go ahead and replace it.
