KitchenAid KDS17 Bob Load Try

Hi All, I finally got around to trying to do a Bob Load in my spare KitchenAid KDS17 Machine. The machine works well as it is a backup machine located in my utility room. I packed it as best as I could considering it is a 1 arm machine with the overhead sprayer on the top. I did use the Full cycle for this test and the pictures will tell the rest. Just a note I did move 1 thing on the bottom rack during the wash cycle as it would have prevented the water getting to a part of the top. I will let you be the judge on the cleaning.Hope this test gets the Bob Load approval.

PS, the machine works perfectly, and is fed very hot water.

I'd say that's a BobLoad for a 1-arm wonder.  Reasonable amount of soil.  I'm wondering if those corningware dishes would have come out cleaner either putting them along the abck facing front.  also wonder if Soak Cycle would have given better results.  That's the type of load those dishwashers were designed for.  I'm trying to figu8re out what you moved in the bottom rack in the middle of the cycle.

Bob, jar at the right front is moved.

I often loaded shallow casseroles, bowls, and even a small saucepan at back of the lower rack in our KDI-17a with the extra plate pins down.  Also sometimes facing forward in the spaces between the side-pins, depending on composition of the load.

Thanks!, I will try the soak cycle the next time I do a Bob Load and see what happens.
