Found out of a remodel job. Appears to be from around 1993, and seems like its a transitional model from the true KA to the WP design. Anyway the kick plate was no where to be found, so does anyone have one that might fit. Do the kick plates from the last of the 21 or 22 series fit? Any help is always appreciated

I agree with DADoES

A pic or two of the inside will tell us the real vintage of this unit. It looks like it might be the later WP Powermodule pump design which while a good pump sytem, I would still prefer the Hobart style pump which was used in the 21 and 22 series. If it has the Powermodule it would be a 23 series which had as far as I am concerned real quality of material issues with really thin porcelain and crappy coatings on the racks as well. Whenever you see them at the curb, the racks are all rusted and rotted and the tanks are pitted and rusted as well. And what was really crappy was that you could not interchange the pump systems when they changed over to the powermodule because the diameter of the mounting plate was smaller than the 18-22 series. Seemed like it would have been cheaper to make a wider plastic housing than to change the dies to make a different bottom panel for the tank. But Hey, I guess that was a way of moving production to the same line as the WP and KM's.
By the way, does your front panel have the stainless trim on the edges? The lower panels I have are all like that in case you can't find one. If you want a new panel assy, they may still be available thru Whirlpool or any parts distributor as well.
