Don't see halogen burner cooktops much these days. Also has an odd bridge shaped burner.

Halogen Electric Elements

Went away because other than a cool visual effect when you turned them on had absolutely no advantage for speed or cooking.

They also had much shorter life spans and were more expensive to make.

Once the Quick-Start elements were developed that turn red hot in less than 8 seconds there was just no reason to keep building something that was more expensive and troublesome.
