Agreed that it is overpriced. Still mildly interesting, though.

I just purchased used K/A set for a rental from mechanic who takes care of my machines. It is very clean and in mint condition. He charged $350.00 plus delivery charges.

I have a set just like it in another unit and it is branded "GE".....nice wash actions but tub is small, nevertheless, it is a cute machine. Roger, Nate, and myself had fun playing with it when unit was vacant.

The KA version supposedly had more sound insulation than the other badges, but it was yanked pretty early. I can't understand why WP does not make one of the large stack machines with some extra features and sell it as a KA. Maybe they see the end of the top loader domination of the market coming to a close sooner rather than later. Some friends have one of the early super thin twins and it handles good sized loads well and has proved very reliable over many years of use. With all of the advantages of a tumble-type washer, if I could only have one washer, it would be a top loader.
