Anyone see the new stuff Kitchenaid is bringing out?

Mix and match the following new designs with the stand mixer while celebrating the natural beauty of ceramics:

Confetti Sprinkle sparks inspiration for your next baking experience with a burst of confetti.

Parasol is inspired by worldly travels. This 3-D faceted bowl combines the traditional Japanese parasol umbrella with Scandinavian floral designs.

Scandi Floral is a playful pattern with a hand-painted look that is inspired by Scandinavian floral designs.

Whispering Floral is a subtle gray floral graphic applied to a white chocolate bowl, bringing forth feelings of peace and serenity to your kitchen.

White Mermaid Lace is a 3D-embossed design inspired by a traditional Japanese fish scale pattern, finished with a reactive glaze that changes the color's intensity to accentuate the pattern.

Beyond the contemporary and stylish designs, the 5-quart ceramic bowls have a variety of key product features including:

Versatile Bowl Bowl is microwave, oven (up to 475°F/250°C) and freezer-safe, so you can soften butter, temper chocolate, and harden or cool ingredients all in a single bowl.

Easy to Use 30% lighter* with pour spout and comfortable handle for a clean, easy transfer of ingredients.

Built to LastTitanium-reinforced ceramic resists chipping, cracking, crazing and staining, and is guaranteed with a 5-year no-chip warranty.**

Easy to CleanMade from dishwasher-safe ceramic.

What do you think?

The extreme temp resistance is nice for cooking. Other than that they seem like they would be heavy and unwieldy to use for something this big. I kind of like the look of the glass bowls, but I think the stainless bowls are best from a weight and durability perspective.

I’ve had glass and ceramic mixing bowls break on me while using them with hand mixers. I now only use stainless steel bowls with mixers and use my ceramic bowls for serving. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with a ceramic bowl on my Kitchenaid.

If you're one of those show-off's who keep their KitchenAid mixers out on the counter as a symbol of culinary expertise, then one of those decorated ceramic bowls would be very nice. You gotta admit they're pretty. Of course the stainless bowl is nearby for actual mixing.

A decal makes a statement too...
