Well you have come to the right place!
Bob, I don't know where you were looking BUT I will help you out.
First of all, make sure that the sides of the actual panel are flat and square so that they can both slip under the "LOWER PANEL SUPPORT" which is the long silver piece that is held in with the 2 screws. That strip also retains the "EVAPORATION CHANNEL" in place against the tank itself and catches any water that may drip from the door or it it spiils out, it will allow it to basically run down into the lower panel and not travel down the tank itself and get the electrical components wet.
Those side tabs will slip under and should hold tightly, but also, there are those two small tabs on the lower corners that the screws go through to keep the bottom in place. Again, make sure that they are squared and flat which is important too.
You will often find that the holes in them will not line right up with the holes in the frame but that is on purpose..you will sometimes have to start the screw on an upward angle which will then create a spring like effect with the tabs pushing the panel up and under the channel support. These are the quirks that drive many people berserk trying to get these panels in place. I have spent many more minutes than I cared to even on installing my own panels and they were in perfect condition!
