I remember those!
Back in the day.... when I worked at Murphy's Mart...We sold them in the store and for less than $60 you could get one of these on sale. For an inexpensive processor it managed to do the job. Than people came aware of Cuisinart machines and all the attachments you could get for it. More expensive yes but definitely a worthwhile investment

I have a Moulinex stick blender that I rarely use. I remember Le Machines, but were they really marketed and/or produced by Regal? I associate Regal primarily with coffee makers and related items.

Even NIB or open box La Machines don't go for much money on fleaPay or elsewhere. Cuisinart and other once TOL food processors often go for comparatively little money
This Cuisinart only sold for $150. Years ago likely would have gone for far more IMHO.

Truth to tell food processors once something every self respecting Queen of the Cul-de-Sac had to own aren't high on many lists any longer. Suppose had much to do with women (and men) not doing as much home cooking from scratch in years past.
Now vintage KA mixers are another matter, those are still highly desirable.
Have always felt if push came to shove would vastly prefer my Kenwood mixer over the Cuisinart. Besides chopping up things only other use for the food processor in my kitchen was for making pastry and other doughs. The Kenwood will do that with ease.

I bought mine prior to 1983 when I met my partner I know that much. It's the same machine branded Moulinex and was made in the USA. It still works fine these 40 some years later.

The "food processor" (such a generic description) was just one of those appliances in a long line, that was an over-priced status appliance at one time.
Add it to the donut maker and yogurt maker in the 70s, the bread maker in the 90s, the george forman griller in the 2000s, and those disgusting unattractive coffee maker things in the tens that use wasteful single serve containers.

Virtually every famous television or otherwise in media cook or chef used food processors and boasted of their usefulness. James Beard used his to make pastry and other doughs. That was more than enough for Queens of the Cul-de Sac...

Well, truth be said. Food processors are, in fact, extremely useful.
Other truth: the S-blade is far the most useful accessory. The others are also somewhat useful, but don't get as much used as the S-blade.
I remember those moulinex. In Brazil they were sold as Arno, which is the Brazilian arm or SEB Groupe. Unfortunately, in Brazil, they didn't sell well because they were almost the price of a Walita (Philips) Master at that time and the Walita Master was a zillion times better.
Nowadays I have a TOL Breville that is amazing, but sometimes I miss the Walita Master smart pro I left in Brazil.
My breville has the mini bowl, but honestly, I miss the 3.5 cup Kitchenaid silly food chopper I had. It's incredibly excellent for a modern junk made in China. It's simple, only 3 small parts to wash and it's powerful enough for the basic mirepoix I use as a base for almost everything I cook.
Kitchenaid also has a slightly bigger version and even a cordless version that are NOT so great as the tiny one.
