When I bought my new machines back in 89 I bought the opposite of what you have posted.
I bought the top end electronic washer with all the bells and whistles, you bought the 90 series one step down.
You bought the top end electronic dryer, I bought the one down from it.

Sadly don't have them any longer. I truly miss that washer. You could set it to do anything for your washing needs. You just had to make sure you knew how to use the keypad on the washer to set it.
