Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

The frame looks WCI. And it has the roasting pan instead of a griddle between the surface units. Didn't someone here have one like this, that had a secondary glass door behind the main oven door?

Newark Ohio Co.

Is most likely the manufacturer of this range. They became a division of Roper in 1964, and the factory operated in Newark until June, 1975. Sears owned Newark in part (with Florence Stove Co.) or whole since the 1930's. Sears also had partial ownership of Roper.

Lady Kenmore 36" Roper Built Range

This range is around 1958-9, interesting range but not the quality of GE, HP, WH or Frigidaire.

It is not a Self-Cleaning oven, the little handle allows you to open the oven door with or without the inner glass panel so you can see what is cooking without letting all the heat out.

This range had nothing to do with WCI, WCI did not even exist yet.

John, as usual,

Is exactly right, its a 1958 or 59, a very nice well featured range, the big problem with these ranges is two fold, the top units are wonderful, 7 heat controls, the center unit is kind of like a big electric skillet, but the ovens are the problem, the issue is the doors will never stay in adjustment,i have a beautiful 58, it works fine if you prop a chair against the door to keep it closed, as it heats it pops open about a quarter of a inch, as these use only bottom heat for baking, this causes a serious problem with browning, if you can keep the door shut, they bake well, John warned me of this when i bought the thing, but im so stubborn i usually dont listen,,lol
