Lady Kenmore Super Duty Dryer in Detroit area

Hi all - I'm new to this group, but have been crunching through many of the topics that deal with washers and dryers of yesteryear(20 yrs and older). I'll spare introductions, and I don't have a collection of washers and dryers..only a desire to eventually replace our 2006 GE washer and dryers, which my wife hates, with something that reminds us of the times we grew up - the 50's and 60's.

Anyway - I see many links posted, so I hope this isn't a duplicate. Here's a nice Lady Kenmore - not sure if he has a matching washer, he didn't reply to my question. If it was electric, we were ready to jump on this one:

Lady Kenmore Super Duty Dryer in Detroit area

Thanks everyone...my wife and I have been looking at Eichler homes and I think that's how I fell into this washer/dryer black hole. The 50's designs in washers remind me of the dashboards of Oldsmobile or Buicks. So much eye candy here, great restorations,and collections. I don't know how some of you all did it, but glad you saved a few great machines from the junkyard recyclers. Thanks to the creator and people who make this site interesting, too!

That looks to be the exact same dryer I have in storage, only mine is gas.  Last time I looked at it it did look a little worse for wear, I gave it to a relative with a very damp basement.  She moved so it's back in storage.

 

$75 is not a bad price.
