Hans - did the family in Lenoir have a GE Americana that looked like this?

A 1963 model; she came from somewhere in the Twin Cities, and had very little use. I've rarely used it - in fact, when Don came to visit, he used it more that weekend than I have have still to this day!

They are quite the beauties. Nothing beats a GE Calrod!

That Murray range was made by the same Murray Corp that owned Easy.

The double oven.

That house!!

Was built in 63, they had a Nutone built in STEREO , the turntable folded out of the wall!!!They also had a Filtex built in vacuum,Nutone kitchen center and a fallout shelter!!! I often wonder what happened to that stuff, There estate sale was about 10 years ago, and the appliances were not for sale,but even the dishwasher looked new.
