I dunno... There's something screwy about this auction. Or are LG direct drive washers that sought after?

Direct-drive in this instance refers to an F&P-style of motor to which the drum directly mounts vs. a traditional belt-driven drum. Many, if not the majority of, frontloaders nowadays use that motor design. It probably was a newer thing for frontloaders at the time of this machine's introduction, thus LG touted it.
