I was at our local Belchville Costco which someone called our department store since it is the only place in Belchville where you can buy a shirt when I saw the new appliance display. They all have to be purchased online, but they have WP and LG. There are two of the little LG pedestal washers: the white one for $599 and the stainless steel front model for $699. If anyone is interested in seeing them, they can be seen anytime if you have a Costco card. If you don't have the card, I will be glad to get you in the store with our ALCO card. The Costco is just up the street from the Museum.

My question is do they work without the big machine bolted to them. They need a 29 or 30 inch machine to fit on top of them. I wonder if they would fly like a drone during spin without the weight holding them down.

Tom,

This little "sidekick" machine has it's own suspension, water valves, drain and power cord.  It is very well made.  I have seen one do a wash without the adult machine on top of it.  It is very well made.  Great wash with lot's of water.  Very nice spin.  The wash was with a full load of dish towels.

I don't have one for my LG set because there is no way I would pay that price.  I am sure one will show up on Craigslist at some point.

It is a fun addition.  I sure other manufactures will catch on and build their own version.

No hot wash

Yea, I thought that was odd when I played with the cycle selections.  Although it would be a hassle, I guess you could turn off your cold water to make it a hot wash.  Humm....wonder though, would that trigger some fault code?
