Hello Everyone
Recently bought a house and moved. Previous owner left an LG washer and dryer pair. She left no owner's manual for either. I am mostly interested in the manual for the washer. I don't know what each cycle does, such as how many rinses, if the onboard heater kicks on for a particular cycle, what the water temperatures are for the allergen and sanitize cycles, etc. If anyone has this info can you post it? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

It's a great washer. I don't use most of the cycles. Mainly just the reg and heavy duty. The downloadable cycles are pretty much unnecessary e. It lets you add a lot of the modifiers to the different cycles.. For exxample if you pick the 15 minute quick wash you can add more time by picking a higher soil level plus you can add extra rinses to it etc. pushing the time up to maybe 30 minutes. Very quiet machine and little to no vibrations

So far, I'm loving this machine. Yes, it is quiet and has never become unbalanced no matter what I have thrown in it. I'm still wondering on what cycles the onboard heater kicks on. I know it will kick on for the allergen and sanitary cycles. I also found that if I select the heavy-duty cycle and use the extra hot water temp option the heater will kick on, but what about the Whites cycle? Also, does the heavy duty, allergen, and sanitize cycles use more rinses than say the normal cycle?

For Whites, Permanent Press, Bedding, and Towels, the heater will heat hot tempereature to 112F; 90F for warm. For both Normal and Heavy Duty, the heater will only come on when extra hot is selected, no other tempereature. Depending on soil level, the heater will heat the water to anywhere between 130F and 158F, that is for soil levels rainging from the lightest to the heaviest. There is no set point target. Once 158F to 160F is reached, the heeater turns off and won't come back on. For Sanitary, depending on soil level, ranges from 140F to 158F. Allergen doesn't allow a soil level option, but heats to 160F and heater turns off. If you opt for steam, any soil level selected is negated and target temp is 165F to 170F. IF any of this incormation is confusing to you, ask for clarification.
