Thank you Greg!
Looks great!

I am wondering if NOLA residents care to share with us what needed to be done with their laundry to salvage it. PErhaps a quickie on how the city is faring, as well.

Then, perhaps I can shre what I have had to do to salvage a friend's clothing that was retrieved from a flooded NYC apt. (a faulty hot water heater, but flooded, no less!)

Molded, stinky, nasty!

Greg... Great Idea

FYI, the Tide Web site is not functioning properly right now (as of 12:20 p.m. pacific time), so I wasn't able to order any t-shirts. However, I just spoke with Tide's customer service and they're working on the problem.

Not that I am an expert in such matters, but I would imagine that a good strong detergent with plenty of Borax and some bleach would work out.
But if the clothing is not bleachable, I would use some Lysol in the bottle. That'll disinfect ANYTHING!
But then again, you'd also have to use a bottle or two of vinegar in the rinse to get rid of the Lysol smell!

Vintage T-Shirts

Site seems to be working now. I just ordered two shirts, but geez, it says that the shirts won't be shipped for 6 to 8 weeks! I hope this is due to an extremely high demand and much success in raising funds to help the victims of hurricane Katrina. Thanks for sharing this information Greg.
