that looks like a really old wringer washer!! i wonder what year it is??
do you know if it's an electric washer or is it a gas powered washer??
does it have an electrical cord??

Appears to be a "grey ghost" Maytag.

Good question I had to run and check.
It is electric cord. Engine looks like ago kart engine.

Thanks for the tip on the model. I just knew there would be a ghost down there lol!

does the wringer work electonically too?? or is this a manual wringer??

Looks like a Maytag model "A" ... 1933 at the latest

By the looks of the square base, it's a Model "A", the earlier version to my Model 30, when Maytag changed the design to an "X" shaped stamped steel base (as in mine.)

When you see the serial number stamped on the front center of the crown, you can verify it against the list provided by the Maytag Collector's club...

hand controlled wringer

Sorry about that. The wringer has a hand crank so I assume its hand powered.
