Hello everyone!

I apologize my terminology is terrible but I haven't been able to figure out what the part I'm looking for is called (which is contributing to my difficulty in finding it). A number of you helpful folk helped me with my last post trying to figure out how the old oven in my new house worked (http://www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?67587_6 ) and I'm hoping you can help me again.

When I first moved in 2 of the 4 burner pieces had 1 or more feet broken off them. I didn't at that time have the money to replace them, but another has broken and I do have the money available now to purchase some replacements. Where can I find them and how do I know they will fit my stovetop?

Pictures and all available possible identifiers are included in my last post.

There are vintage stove parts/yards you can check with, and they should have an on-line presence.  You may want to take a picture of the broken piece(s) and post it here, and it would be good to have a picture anyway to send to any potential supplier.

If you are referring to the part that your pan sits on, it's called a burner grate. Go on eBay and search " vintage universal stove grate" or something to that affect and you will eventually find some. I find that it's typically cheaper to find a whole unit on Craigslist and just take the needed parts. Good luck
