I noticed Home Depot’s site now has a few different commercial kitchen items for sale as special order, such as grills, convection ovens, fryers, etc.

I have seen antique commercial stoves with the Magic Chef name, but surprised to see this again. It seems at one time by the 70s and 80s Magic Chef was mostly a mobile home brand of appliances, and today was mostly just a brand you’d see on mini fridges and microwaves.

Not sure how it ended up on restaurant equipment, or why Home Depot is selling it.

Yet another example of an Asian company resurrecting an American appliance brand in aid of trading on past associations.

Whirlpool got their mitts on Magic Chef when they bought Maytag but have since either sold off or licensed that brand. Consequently you find Magic Chef on all sorts of appliances (all Asian made IIRC), that MC never made before in its life.
