If you can get past the 41 year old film stock, you will see a fairly decent couple of Maytag commercials, as well as two Motorola Quasar Works-In-A-Drawer ads, and of course, a couple of Magnavox sales at your Magnavox dealer.

I think they're from the late '60s, but I believe the Magnavox Armoire Stereo Theatre was released in late 1970. Except for that ghastly "color" and the projector, it's entertaining.

Here's an original 1965 Zenith color tv ad in startling Full Color!

The first Zenith set was the same one my parents bought in 1964, it was their first color set. I remember those Treble & Bass tone controls under the speakers.

The 1965 Chevrolet was advertised at the time as being a big step for Chevrolet compared to the 1964 models. The car was lowered a bit, the car was much lighter than earlier models and had a new interior design. And I believe Chevrolet also offered a new engine model in it. Maybe the 327 or the 396?

I've got to agree with you Lawrence

But it does my heart good to see those sparkley new things, the very latest and the best, seeing two elegant women in one of the best looking cars on the road, and exciting new rectangular color television in luxurious cabinets. Our antique mall had the French Provincial color set in its basement for years, I shudder to think where that went. It was the last whole '60s tv I've seen here. Our last washer before the White Consolidated Industries Frigidaire Skinny Mini was a Maytag BOL, replaced after Mom broke her elbow and knee on the same day. She still didn't give up the clothsline for good.

Yes,What fun-old "add reels" from the REAL days of TV.thats a good reason about why I don't watch TV today-not only are the shows crappy-so are the commercials.I get depressed and almost sick of hearing prescription drug adds-now in those older days many of the commercials were FUN that showed TVs,hi-fis,cleaning products-yes vacuum cleaners too. When visiting TV stations in Wash DC area during the 70s-thru early 80s you would see the add reel on the stations film chain projector.Later they went to video carts-and the video cart changer-so fun to watch!!The station would transfer the commercial from the 16mm film to the videocart by recording from the film to the videocart.RCA and Ampex made videocart machines-Bell&Howell,Kodak,RCA made film chain 16mm projectors.Would like to have some of those today! You could convert them to use like a regular projector onto a screen instead of pickup camera.
