beautifull when they are finished! I think these old places should always be saved. It takes an enormous budget though. Then there are the heating bills, but I guess if you have to ask how much it costs? As it is said, then you can't afford it. Unless of course, a few tourists team up and rent it for a week. That might even help pay for the renovations.
