As I kid I recall this specific washer not having the descriptions of each cycle on the machine, was this "model specific"? Today i'd imagine there being a description as to not confuse the operator of the machine..But my memory says otherwise...

Lastly in the YouTube video link below, what type of agitator is this? I'd think of it as a ramp style agitator, and did they come in the color white? According to the photo from the members collection, it looks like it did, but it says "veri-flex" on the control panel.

Thanks everyone!

Agitator...

That agitator is a Roto-Swirl, the Vari-Flex likely broke and was replaced with what the dealer had on hand.

As a side note, a Vari_Flex had adjustable lower fins to what type of load you were washing.

Mandela Effect??

I'm pretty sure this KM washer in the photo was never offered with a Vari-Flex agitator. The Roto-swirl in it is correct and that agitator was made in white, black and gold, depending on the year and model it was installed in.

Also, I'm pretty sure it does not say "Vari-Flex" on the control panel.

Vari-Flex

I zoomed in and blew up the picture so it could be seen better. It looks like Vari-Flex to me but it could say something else.

This machines is too early for a white roto-swirl agitator, at that time they were gold. Also that agitator mounted fabric softener dispenser wouldn't have been there either because of the built in bezel dispenser. I think the white agitators came out around '73 or so.
